Mr. Leiman is Chief Financial Officer of
InsCap Management, LLC. responsible for firm wide accounting
and finance, treasury, risk management, tax, human resources
and audit. He comes to InsCap with over 25 years of experience
in the financial services industry. Before joining InsCap,
Mr. Leiman spent 8 years at Merrill Lynch & Co. as a Managing
Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Merrill
Lynch Global Bank Group where he was responsible for managing
over $60 billion in bank deposits and headed all bank infrastructure
areas. He also served as COO of Merrill Lynch Bank USA and
Chief Executive Officer of Merrill Lynch Bank & Trust.
He joined Merrill Lynch in 2000 and was instrumental in the
execution of the firm's bank strategy, including the sweep
of money funds into bank deposits and the creation of bank
infrastructure.
Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Mr. Leiman
was a Managing Director at Bankers Trust for 10 years where
he served as Chief Financial Officer for the firm's Global
Trading and Sales and Emerging Markets businesses as well
as Deputy Controller and Head of Corporate Accounting Policy.
Previously, Mark spent 4 years at JP Morgan responsible for
accounting policy for capital markets products and started
his career at Arthur Young where he was a Manager in the audit
department.
Mr. Leiman is a CPA in New York and holds
a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College. |
